The most conservative estimate puts the death toll from Tuesday’s earthquake at 50,000 men, women and children. Another 250,000 people may be injured. 3 million people may be affected. An already impoverished and suffering population has been struck by true tragedy. Water is scarce. Civil unrest stirs. Entire families have been killed.

We’re raising money in the Solspace store for Haiti relief. We’re encouraging you to buy from the store with a 20% discount. We’ll take 20% of your total purchase and send that to the Red Cross for Haiti relief. In effect we are donating 40% of software sales, giving you a 20% discount incentive and Haiti the rest. The effort will last through Wednesday.

Our goal is to raise $2000 and we will monitor that goal on the Solspace home page.

Keep in mind that your assistance now will also benefit you in the coming months. We will be charging for EE 2.0 upgrades of most software. Those upgrade fees will be waived on purchases taking place within 3 months of an upgrade release.

Help us help Haiti now.
