It’s my absolute pleasure to anounce the long awaited release of our premier module, User 2.0.
A long, long time ago, the module was created with the purpose of making working with the EE member templates easy. The module has since grown to include more and more features to help make the member management system more powerful. To be completely honest, the module lost a little attention over the past year, but most of you remained patient with us and content with the module. We thank you VERY much for that.
Today marks the day that all known bugs have been squashed, and has no more gaps in functionality (to the best of our judgement!). We’ve added several new goodies for you as well - you’ll have to take a peek for yourself though! Overall, this has been a painful release as we covered a massive laundry list of bugs and new features (don’t believe me?!), as well as a complete revamp of the Documentation set.
Download the upgrade free!
I’d also like to thank Ryan Masuga of Devot:ee for awarding User as Module of the Year for the First Annual AcademEE Awards.
In case you’ve been living under a rock:
The User module’s primary purpose is to bring EE member template functionality outside of those restricted templates, and into regular EE templates. Imagine implementing very customizable and flexible member templates within minutes! Easily display other features in a users profile page such as their recent weblog entries, photos, comments, favorites, and more!
This powerful and very flexible module is also capable of much more. It brings to the table a robust set of front end member management tools and adds much more flexibility to the way your member management behaves. Send an automated custom welcome email to users once their registration is complete, Register new members via the front end, set the email address to be the username for logging into your site, Custom error pages… need we say more?!
Freedom is a good thing.
Try it today! 30 day money back guarantee!
If User does not meet your expectations, or is not right for you, just let us know and we’ll give you a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

I thought User was “Module of the Year” before you even released version 2.0. It’s now an even better offering. I’ve spent all day with it today working on a members area for one of my sites. Great work, and congrats on getting a blog up and running!
