I’d really like to use the CSS Star Rating Redux for the star ratings on a site, but that is only part of the puzzle. Does anyone have the javascript (using jQuery) that can handle the rating form submittal?
Or if there is another method that works better I’d love to hear it.
If someone could provide some help/insight I would greatly appreciate it!

... but isn’t quite what I am looking for.
Using this code, I have tried (by manipulating existing tags et al, unsuccessfully) to:
1. Have a simple listing (by average rating, starting with the highest rated first, then sorted by date)
2. Have the list stop at 5 and then paginate for the rest
3. Include the following tags ... {rating_name} / {rating_date format="%d/%m/%y"} / {rating_date format=’%h:%i%a’} ... on this page
4. Have, instead of the rating number (e.g. 5.0), show the number of stars by way of an image (just like the single entry page) - {stars}{rating}{/stars} ???
My questions are:
1. Pagination will work in the way I want it to?
2. Will the tags shown in 3. above work the way I would like to?
3. Can stars instead of a number be shown?

Yeah, it’s Olde-Stone again! 
The weird thing is that the ratings are actually being recorded. I can go to Modules >> Rating and then view all the ratings and they are all there, just not showing on the live site.

The only mention I can find within the Rating docs is that this option is available ... but I don’t know how to implement it ({notify_me}) from the info available.
Could someone please advise?
2. I (as Administrator) want to be notified – by email – of all new ratings. I am using notify="myname@myemailaddress.com" within the exp:rating:form tags, but I am not receiving anything (yes, I have checked the spam box).

1. A copy of prototype.js, probably best to get the latest build, though I am using 1.5.1.1
2. This zip file of assets. This will give you the 3 star images you need to test with, plus the .psd (CS3) should you want to make changes. There’s also the loading animation in there, though you can go make your own easily enough.
3. ExpressionEngine and an installed copy of the Ratings module!
Ok, first things first: upload the assets to your /images/ folder.
For this example, I’m going to upload them to /images/assets/
Next, install prototype.js
This is merely a case of copying in the javascript to a blank template of the type ’static‘.
For this example I’m going to create it in /_incs/prototype.js
Now it’s time to create the template to return the messages that are fed back when a user submits their rating. [/size]
For this example I’m going to call it /_incs/ajax_rating_message
This is another easy step, simply put this in to the template:

You probably already have this setup, add just need to add in the new code, so I’m going to keep the template as clean as possible.

Suggestion was to simply use: http://www.site.com/template_group/template/{entry_id}
At the time, I did that and it worked just fine. I noticed that here recently that for whatever reason it isn’t working now in the notification emails. All I get is a url that looks like this in the notification email when a new rating is left: http://www.kentuckygolfing.com/courses/details/{entry_id}
Any ideas on what might be going on and what I can change to fix it? To my knowledge I’ve not changed anything to make it stop working.

From reading Tony Nibbles’ thread about AJAX-ifying the rating so it’s like a simple vote-rating system, I take it that it can be possible to have a vote rating without the comment box… more or less out of the box (and before AJAX-ifying it)? I’d just much much rather have weblog entry comments be a separate beast than voting.
I’d also, if it’s possible, like the votes and scores to be hidden until a certain date, on a per weblog entry basis.
Are both of these doable? I’m guessing yes, but I just want to make sure.
