I have geocoding by clicking on a link in the cp (quicklinks) that opens a template that takes address from a custom field, geocodes it, and updates latitude and longitude fields from the template.

Would be nice to have an extension that does the same by just saving the entry...saving the extra step

Possible or?

Hello there, it’s me again.

I was coding around a particular page of my site when I came across a little problem regarding weblog relationships, and remembered hearing something about Related Entries Module from Solspace.

Problem:

I have a page where I display the latest weblog entry (a review of a game) with it’s Title, Subtitle, Body, etc. This weblog entry is related to another weblog entry (the game itself) using the Relationship custom field. Also, that related weblog entry (the game) is related to many other weblog entries (the platform, genre, company, etc) using the same method.

When I want to display the review, I can only retrieve information of related entries to that particular weblog entry, but I can’t retrieve info from the related entries of that related entry. So I can’t display the platform of the game from that review, for example. Dunno if it makes sense, but anyway.

Would the future Related Entries Module sort this out? Is there any other workaround for this? I haven’t really bothered to investigate much about it, but I’ll try to find a solution while I wait for an answer.

Thanks in advance.

I feel like I’m outgrowing the SimpleCommerce module that comes with ExpressionEngine. Does anyone have any recommendations for another one that integrates with EE? The one used by Solspace on their web site seems pretty good to - is this something custom-built or is it a 3rd party component?
