exp:favorites:members showing author screenname

Im using this code to show the users who saved an entry to their favs

..but it only show the author screenname.

Customize user message

Hello,

In the control panel, the length of the user messages is very limited.
I need to display much longer info.

Is there a workaround ? Can I receive a variable instead of a string ?

Favorites and gallery module

Hello,

I apologize if what I’m going to ask is obvious but I’m not finding this information and it’s important for my website.

Is it possible to use the favorites module with photo gallery entries? I plan to use EE’s gallery module for my site’s photo galleries and not weblogs as some people do.
If it’s not built in, would it require some complicated hacking?

list of recently added favourates

Is it possible to create a list of recently favourated entries? Currently it looks like you can only show it for a single member, and not for all members

I am looking to produce something like

Jim has favourated "some entry"
Jane has favourated "Entry 2" 

Is offset available for Favorites?

I was trying to pull the most favorited item and then a list of the other top favorites without repeating the top one. Tried offset=“1” but it didn’t seem to take. Is that parameter not available? If not is there way to accomplish this?

Im using 2 weblog listings on the same page with favorites_count for each title.
If i put 2 favorites_count then in second I’m getting favorites_count like:

Migrate favorites to data migrated to another site.

Hey there, I used Importer to move the content of 3 weblogs from one site (id:6) to another (id:1). In the process I lost the Favorites metadata that I had built-up over the last year. Every “favorited” record on id:6 has an identical record on on id:1, what would be involved in adapting the Favorites metadata to reflect the migration.

I quick look at exp_favorites looks like it could be as simple as updating the “entry_id” and “site_id” values for each of the records. It’s not a small task but at around 300 mappings, it doesn’t seem insurmountable either.

Do you see any consequence to just the records in MySQL (after backing up of course). Is there anything I’m not understanding about that way Favorites data is structured? Most importantly, can you think of any automated way to draw up a map of entry_id from the old system to the new system?

Setting up favorites [again] on a new site. Couple questions

It’s been a long time since I last messed with the favorites module. I’m not exactly sure I set everything up correctly with my first attempt (on another site) but this time, I want to ensure I’ve got everything setup correctly.

So, as I’m beginning to set up the module, I have some questions:

1. Is it better to use entry_id for saving and deleting or is url_title fine to use? Seems I remember running into so bugs last time when using url_title?
2. I’m a little confused on how I should be setting up saving and deleting of favorites in my templates. Should I follow the examples found here: http://www.solspace.com/docs/detail/favorites_saved/ or here: http://www.solspace.com/docs/detail/favorites_save/? Seems both have different examples of how to save and delete.The first link shows examples with the {exp:favorites:saved} tag which the second example does not.
3. I don’t have this live currently to where you can see it, but I’ve set a section up on LogoGala to save/delete favorites using this code:

I then saved the entry successfully and was taken to the “favorites/save” template where I got the message telling me that my entry was saved. Now when I refresh the page, I’m still seeing “Save as Favorite” even though it is in fact saved. If I click on “Save as Favorite” again, I just get a message telling me that it’s already been recorded.
