Hi,

Sorry to sound dumb but does onSubmit allow me to bypass the ugly EE error screen if required fields haven’t been populated and instead allows me to add errors on the form itself?

Just bought this extension. I don’t know javascript. I just want to validate that a category has been chosen before the entryform has been submitted. Don’t understand how to use this. Can anyone walk me through this?

The onSubmit extension let’s you add an onsubmit Javascript handler to any EE form. This let’s you validate forms through Javascript prior to submission thus improving site usability and reducing server load.
