User Authors Ordering: Feature Request

Is there a way to order the primary author first, without conditionals? Or could this be added to the feature requests for future releases?

hi, i bought this extension a few hours ago. I installed and configured it with authors module and a button showed on the posting section but the author section was blank. I tried to search a author but the result was blank still. anything wrong?

also, is there any installation instruction with gallary extended? it seems i have some problem with it as well. i bought 4 modules from you and am figuring them out one by one now.

Just wondering how this works? Does this merely add a little select box in the administration back-end that allows me to manually select additional authors and add them to a post?

Can this automatically add users as authors who’ve made revisions/edits to a weblog post?

User Authors 1.0.3

The User Authors extension works with the User Module to activate several functions. The point of the functions is to allow people to assign multiple authors to blog entries and have a variety of functions affect that. The Authors() function lets you show the authors of a given blog entry. It behaves just like the User:Users function for variables and such.

Conditional display of entries to multiple users

Hi,

I am hoping that User and User Authors may be the solution I am looking for.

Basically I need to be able to register a large number (hundreds or thousands) of members , who will be employees of one of a largish number (50-100) of client organisations .

On logging in , a member will be directed to a page which shows weblog entries which their organisation is allowed to view.

I need an easy way to assign entries on publication to a particular organisation, or failing that to its individual employees.

Does this make sense, and have I found the solution?

Work with SAEFs?

Hey all.

I just picked up a copy of this and I’m really pumped to use it. I have one member group that will use it from the CP.
I was just wonder if it’s usable (or if anyone has yet used it) via a SAEF? If so, tips?

At worst case, I’m sure I could do something with the query module, but just wanted to hear from people who are using it.

Tab on Entry Forms Not Displaying for Custom Member Groups

Hi again,

So we have a custom member group set up for content admins. Basically, they have access to just about everything except templates. The User Authors tab doesn’t display for them however. I logged in with one of their accounts to verify this. The member group has access to all Modules (including User). I can even browse to the Extensions manager under their account and see that the tab titles are in place (the problem I had yesterday).

Any suggestions? The tab seems to only be available to Super Admins.

Backspace parameter or something similar?

I noticed that the backspace parameter does not work for the user authors tag. Is there something similar or that I am missing?
