Rating 2.2.0 Now Released!

First of all, I’d like to thank everyone for their patience with us.

Rating was loooong overdue for some lovin’

We’ve added a few nifty new features that might make a big impact for you. We’ve also fixed a very long list of bugs.
We recommend all users to upgrade to Rating 2.2.0, as there are nearly 20 bug fixes, dramatic optimization to the code, and as I mentioned before, a handful of goodies

We still need to update our Documentation to reflect some of these changes and new features. Please bear with us as we get that together. In the process, I plan to clean up and improve the Rating Documentation and examples.

Primary Category 1.0 Now Available!

The Primary Category extension allows you to assign a primary category to an entry in ExpressionEngine using AJAX drag and drop. When you view a front-end page and have a weblog entries loop you can pull the primary category variables like all native EE category variables. Using the exp:primary_category loop, you can pull the same variables, so you have more flexibility. Additonally, your regular categories list is organized is a neat and tidy, controlled manner.

The Primary Category extension solves the problem of needing to have a “primary” category for an entry when it’s assigned to many categories… or even just 2.
No longer do you need to fiddle with sloppy workarounds… just one extra click, and your done. The template variables are easy, clean, and flexible!

Add YouTube, Revver or Blip.tv videos to your website. Allow your users to submit video. And even attach submitted videos to weblog entries, comments, member profile, etc!

New plugin:Selected

This plugin makes it easy for you to dynamically select the states of form elements and CSS objects at page load time. You pass the value you’re evaluating in the item parameter. That will always be some sort of variable, like a segment. Then you use a variable to handle the output of the selected state.

To give you an example:
