Hi Mitch!

I’ve noticed a couple things acting up with GX 2.02:

1) Each photo I upload through the GX 2 form does NOT count itself into the Photo Count on the front end (using regular Photo Gallery code.
2) Even though I did not set the override_resize parameter, AND even after setting it to override_resize="no” GX 2 still seems to ignore my Photo Gallery watermarking and image resizing settings.
3) It seems to ignore the allow_comments option, even though I have it set to “y”

Although, don’t beat yourself up just yet.... perhaps this may be related to another problem I’m having:
http://expressionengine.com/forums/viewthread/61385/

Although the GX2 module actually POSTS the photo rasberry

Thanks LOL

Well, I’ve since fixed the other problem I was having (server wont allow the TrueType fonts… disabled, fixed.

The above issues are still happening. Here’s my code:

<table width="508" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="7">
{exp:gallery_extended:entry_form gallery_name="Photo Gallery" return="{path=cp/okphotos}" override_resize="no"}

<tr>
<
td class="two">File Name: <span class="required">*</span><br /><input type="file" class="form" name="userfile" size="35" /></td>
  </
tr>
  <
tr>
<
td class="one">Title: <span class="required">*</span><br /><input type="text" class="form" size="75" maxlength="100" name="title" value="" /></td>
  </
tr>
  <
tr>
<
td class="two">Event:<br /><input type="text" name="custom_field_one" class="form" size="75" maxlength="100" value="" /></td>
  </
tr>
  <
tr>
<
td class="one">Caption:<br /><textarea name="caption" cols="75" rows="5" class="form" id="caption"></textarea>
<
input type="hidden" name="cat_id" value="1" maxlength="75" size="50" /></td>
  </
tr>
  <
tr>
<
td class="two"><input name="submit" type="submit" class="form" value=" Upload Photo " /> <span class="required">* Required Field</span>
<
input type="hidden" name="allow_comments" value="y" />
<
input type='hidden' name="status" value='o' />
<
input type="hidden" name="entry_date" id='entry_date' value='{current_time format="%Y-%m-%d %h:%i %A"}' /></td>
  </
tr>{/exp:gallery_extended:entry_form}
</table>

Pie Man,

I’m right here. Just swamped at the moment…

What sort of a timeline are you working on? The bugs you note will take a bit of time to reproduce and fix? Is this an emergency or do we have a bit of time?

Well… I could pretend it’s an emergency LOL but I love yah too much to do that to you! wink

In all honesty, it’s not exactly mission critical or of high urgence, but it is kind of holding me back in one area a teensy bit LOL
We have a bit of time… but don’t forget about your Pie Man!! rasberry

Is there any other information I can give you to help you?

Thanks Mitchypoo smile

My good man. You’re going to send the dogs after me aren’t you? I’m really sorry Pie Man. Today is your day! If it takes me to 3:00 am I’ll have something to make you happy.

Haha LOL

Brings to my mind a quote:

“Or what? You’ll release the dogs… ....or the bees? ....Or the dogs with bees in their mouths .....and when they bark they shoot bees at you?”

For the record, I’m having the same issues as Pie Man (minus the watermark since I’m not using it).

Pie Man has been generous enough to give me access to his site. I’ll log in and troubleshoot and have an upgrade for you guys shortly. That is, as soon as the food poisoning runs it’s course over here in Mitchell land.

Cheers.
