I’m looking for two types of functionality; single file/photo upload (I currently use Mark’s File on the admin side) and would like to have “additional photos” of about 5 max also as part of the form.  I’m not thinking of using those additional photos as part of a separate photo gallery, at least for now.  I really want to keep things simple, so which would work better?  What if I threw in having short audio clips to upload as well?  (yes, I know about the php.ini and it’s taken care of).

I’d say Gallery extended… it’s a lot more flexible (especially for future if you want to do the seperate photo gallery thing down the road)…

All in all, for $5 more for Gallery Extended 2.0, you’ll get much more functionality…

The File Upload module moreso allows you to upload images one at a time, and then place HTML code referencing the uploaded file into your entry…
