Screenshots attached.

Preferences: off

P.S. I use the Acronym plugin also, it works correctly (but I don’t want to use FTP). So, that is not an issue connected with the system.

I’m sorry, you referred to the Acronym module twice… which other module are you referring to?

Sorry about that…

What is it the problem you’re having? Is it not accepting the words, or is it not linking them?

I’ve tested it myself and it worked perfectly fine for me.

One screenshot above (1st message) shows the module accepts a word in Cyrillic, the 2nd one shows only words with Latin characters have links:

<acronym title="test1">test</acronym> тест <acronym title="888">777</acronym>

P.S. The Acronym plugin does not have this problem.

What to do in such a situation?

sigork,

Would I be able to take a poke into your control panel?

sigork,

In the meantime, you can try this:
Convert High ASCII Characters to Entities in your EE settings

CP Home › Admin › Website Administration › Global Website Preferences

I have the same problem. Encryption Cyrillic utf-8. Russian words did not reflect, and English - and it works.
