I’m having a problem with 2.0.9 on the publish screen when typing into the ‘Tag Browser’ field.
This seems to be specific to this site/EE install (1.6.1), I have another site with Tag 2.0.9 working fine.

When I type into the field, I get no suggestion drop down, and then when I hit enter, rather than sending it over to the tag cloud, the main ‘preview’ button for the post is pressed.
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling it with the same results.

I’ve tried Safari, Firefox, and IE.  Strange thing, on Firefox 2 for Mac, I do get the suggested tags dropdown, and when I hit enter it sends it over to the tag field, but then activates the preview button as well, as it brings me to the preview screen.

Anyone know what could be causing this?
Are there any documented conflicts with other extensions/modules?

By default, anywhere you click in the EE Entry Form in the CP, the Preview button gets pre-selected.

The purpose of the Tag Search is to generate matching tags to what you’re typing. From there, you should use your mouse to click the matching tags over.
If you’re hitting Enter, it’s going to activate the Preview button.

Ok I see that you can mouse it over or right the right arrow on the keyboard and it sends it without going to preview.

But there still seems to be a problem with the module specific to this ee install.  The suggested tags drop down doesn’t appear, while it does on another site, same browser.  Pressing the right arrow to send the tag to the tag field doesnt work…while it does work on the other site.
Also, I tried just typing right into the tag field and submitting.  It gets saved and goes in the database…but when I try to use {exp:tag:entries tag=“tag”} in my template, it doesn’t pull the entry.  I tried the exact same template on the site where Tag seems to be working properly, and it pulled up the enty.

This makes me think its a conflict with another extension or module that isnt present on the site where tag is working.  Is that possible?
Or is there a CP setting that could be different that is screwing stuff up?

Perhaps - which other addon’s do you got installed?
Maybe moreso, which other addon’s do you have installed that directly integrate or affect the Publish Entry page in the CP?
Even moreso, which addons do you have on this website that you DON’T have on the other site you tested with?
