Tag Module & Moblog Module

I use the Moblog module (2.0.9) to post new weblog entries (including a special field for Tags).

Now, it seems that the Moblog module does not consider this tag field (if it is transmitted by the Moblog Module, manually posted it works).

How could I fix that problem?

Would it perhaps possible to start the Harvest function by cron job periodically?

Thanks, MISC

If I understand correctly, you’re submitting tags through the Moblog Module to a custom field designated as a Tag field (“Preference”) for Harvesting?
And you’ve probably upgraded to v2 recently now?

If so, yes, you’re a little screwed with the Harvesting.
You’d have to either manually Harvest or do a cron job…

Unless of course, we attempted some sort of bridge between the two as a future feature.

I’m not sure if this is of any use as well, but this might do it for you too… maybe even just as a temp solution to buy time to head over to the Harvest button every once and a while raspberry

Okay, but is it generally possible to start the Harvest process by a cron job?

Is there a php class I could use?

Or which script file do I have to address with which parameters?

Using a cron job, depending on the server, you can script the thing to login into the EE CP and run the Tag module harvest function. It would imply being really good with cron jobs though.
