Is there a way to edit the way the columns appear on the entries page?  I have a message field that appears as a very narrow column, which for long messages requires me to scroll down the page to read the message.  I would like to combine some columns (like “name”, “phone”, and “email”) in order to allow more width for the “message” column.

I just came here to inquire about the same thing. Large TextArea content really cause havoc to the display of the entries. I think a “disable view” type option would be helpful.

Has anybody found a cure for this issue or has it been resolved in the updates to the module? I also have a message field in my form that produces a narrow column of content in the entries page on the cp. It looks really bad! It would seem like a pretty common problem as a lot of form have comment text areas. Any ideas?

There is currently no way to do this… although I’ll note it as a feature request to allow a little flexibility for control on that page… as you mentioned it can get a little disastrous :D
