Before posting I should admit that I’ve not yet tried the CC extension, so I’m just going on the blurb that’s provided and may well be overlooking something that’s already possible. If so then great, and please ignore me.

I’m interested in the feasibility of having some Freeform forms play nice with the Contact Contact extension, i.e. for it to be possible to subscribe an individual using the details they have provided within a FF form, rather than a EE member registration page. The site in question will not directly be accepting registrations, though it is going to have a selection of different forms and I’d like to capture email addresses and send then to CC.

If this isn’t currently an option, is it likely to become one in the future? Would modifying the extension to achieve this functionality likely be a major headache?

What you would want to do is create a new extension that uses the Freeform extension hooks to subscribe a Freeform submitter to a CC list.

Any example of how to do this? I too am looking to add people to constant contact based on a Freeform submission rather than on a new member submission. My site doesn’t user members.
