Hi, I’m not sure if this is a Solspace issue or EE issue, but seeing as you haven’t heard from me in a while I just thought I’d try here first.

Using user to upload a member photo from a front end member edit screen - I’ve discovered that if I have an uppercase file extension (picture.JPG) it’ll throw a wobbly. Once the filename is downcased (is that a new word?) it seems to work OK....

Ignore - it’s an EE issue, doesn’t work on the EE main site control panel either. Sorry smile

There is one thing. Is this a SolSpace/User generated error:

The filetype you are attempting to upload is not allowed
The type of image you are attempting to upload is not an allowed type
.

Because the error I was hoping to get was this:

The filetype you are attempting to upload is not allowed
Images must be one of the following image types
jpgjpeggifpng

It’s the error I get when I upload an image called image.JPG via user:edit.

Answer - yes it was, and I’ve ammened the language file to display the error as I want it.

I shall stop thinking aloud on these forums now! red face
