Hope I don’t come across as a total noob now

I have 2 separate forms on the same EE template so when I fill out one and send it, I get an error message because freeform is trying to validate the other which is still empty.
Recap: 2 forms on same page but only 1 needs to be filled in, not both (so either the main form OR the one in a sidebar).
Both forms have the same action="” so that’s no doubt causing it.
Is this a known limitation or is there a simple workaround?

His issue was the Javascript Validation as well…
There isn’t really any workaround yet, but I’ll check with Mitchell

E-man what are you using to validate the forms?
