Rick,

Are you uploading in the Edit panel of a blog entry? Or through a front-end form?

any word on this?  Or can you give me a link to download the old version.  I made a mistake and thought I had a backup.  I don’t, so now I’m dead in the water!!

Qrat,

Have you enabled the Gallery Extended extension?

I’ve tested out GX 2.1 on three servers (one of which was an upgrade from 2.0.4, one of which was a fresh install. Both on different servers, one being an EngineHosting account. I cannot duplicate any of these issues.  long face

Rick,

It doesn’t appear that you are relating any of your photos to entries… you’re just using the SAEF part of it? smile
I noticed your Image Tab in the Publish/Edit page disappears when clicked too (like Qrat’s)

Rick, Can you de-install GX2, remove it from your server, then download a fresh copy and reinstall it? Just make sure all files are uploaded as well. smile

Let me know if that works…

Pie Man,

I had actually deleted and re-installed once already, but I just did it all again.  Remove module -> delete files -> installed fresh copy of files (after new download from solspace) -> install module.  Same problem.

Yes I am only using the SAEF part at the moment.  I only bought it for that and the ability to display personal galleries which is the main reason I needed 2.1 because dynamic="off" doesn’t work in 2.0.4.

I have a very big event going live this weekend, so I really need to get this fixed ASAP.  Can you send me a copy of 2.0.4 just in case we can’t get this fixed.  I will go back to that.  rmeder@i2tsolutions.com.

Thanks,

Rick

fixed the path problem.  I hard coded the proper path into the module and it worked, so I went back and noticed that the category name had changed in the form template.  Flipped back to the original module file and everything is still working.

Qrat,

Sorry about that. That is why I directed that to Rick, because I knew he wasn’t relating any images, and you were… ohh

rmeder, is your problem solved here (as a temporary fix)? If you have the time, can you explain a little more in detail what you did?

I apologize for the inconvenience…

Thank you smile

I made back up copy of my base. ReInstalled EE, than recovered all my entries and other data (by copy text in SQL file and paste it to base by phpMyAdmin). Then I installed GX, problem solved. Thank you, I value your time!
