Vote-style with no commenting, hidden scores on per-weblog-entry-basis?

Quick and possibly dumb questions before I download Rating.

From reading Tony Nibbles’ thread about AJAX-ifying the rating so it’s like a simple vote-rating system, I take it that it can be possible to have a vote rating without the comment box… more or less out of the box (and before AJAX-ifying it)? I’d just much much rather have weblog entry comments be a separate beast than voting.

I’d also, if it’s possible, like the votes and scores to be hidden until a certain date, on a per weblog entry basis.

Are both of these doable? I’m guessing yes, but I just want to make sure.

Cheers! Thanks!

Definately possible! You control how many or how little fields you want shown. smile

Not out of the box, but as a work-around, you could create a conditional off of a custom field or date field in the weblog entry to show the Rating:Entries and/or Rating:Stats loops at your preference. smile
