Is there a way to make the forum URL’s so that instead of showing a number for the thread, it uses the title of the thread instead?

For example:  http://www.solspace.com/forums/viewthread/1021/ could be changed to:
http://www.solspace.com/forums/viewthread//URL_change_from_using_numbers_to_actual_words/

This would certainly help with SEO.

What are the rest of you doing?

This wouldn’t be the right website forum to ask this question. You should try the ExpressionEngine forums.

With that said, I don’t believe there’s any way to do this, unless someone’s come up with a 3rd party module.

It’s definately a great idea though. I’ll add this as a Module request

Ok thanks.  I know there’s been a lot of talk in SEO forums about forums changing the URL’s so that they show up better in Google searches.  Relevancy.
