Hmm, just stumbling through the solspace docs and see… XML Walk! Very cool guys! This sounds like something like what I was hoping for out of the FeedGrab plugin.

Any idea when this will be available?

Gotta say that solspace does the most kick-ass, Web 2.0-y plugins for EE. Ahead of the curve my friends.

Thank you Tyler.

Though XML Walk is not ready for prime time, it may still be useful to you. Let me know if you want to clown around with it.

Not sure if I’ll have any immediate use/test case for it unless I magically add a spare day or two to my life… if you can help me with that then yeah, send it on! smile

I’m on the mailing list now (I believe) so I’ll await it’s normal release. I have quite a few EE toys to play with at the moment. Thanks.

Of course it’ll be announced here in the forums as well smile But as Mitchell said, a formal release is still quite some time off.

I am so excited when I come across this module accidentally when I am looking at the documentation.

But as it turns out, it is not available for download.  Just curious if it is ready for prime time?  I have a small project that can really use this module.  I don’t mind if it is good for beta.

Hi Arnold,

XML Walk could serve you well if the XML that your parsing doesn’t have an extremely deep nesting and / or does not have a lot of bizarre tags.

The module is not air tight considering how many uses of XML are out there. Email me at mitchell at solspace.com and I’ll hook you up with a copy and help you put it in place.
