Now, I wonder what the status of this interesting project is.

This has been in development for a while now.
Likewise, I’m tracking it’s progress very closely and waiting for a release.

Last I heard it was in ‘early alpha for a client’.

But Mitchell and PieMan both tend to, rather sensibly , ignore my stick-poking on the issue

We’re waiting on the release of ExpressionEngine 2.0. It will not be any earlier than that, for compatibility reasons, etc.
It’s also been hyped up so much, Mitchell feels it’s not good enough yet, so he wants to cram more features into it, haha

Aw man. I suppose that probably means within 3-4 months then (at least I’m hoping for EE 2.0 within that timeframe). I’d have been waiting for nearly, almost - a year!

I’d better start shitting myself over just exactly how much of my site will crumble and die with an EE 2.0 upgrade…
