Hello,
Weird issue popped up on a site I used Freeform on over the weekend. I am assuming that it is a hosting problem, but I wanted to make sure.
In the “from” email field in the template, I am using “{email}.” The emails are being recorded to the database, and the email is going through to the address it is supposed to get to, but the users submitting are getting a bounce-back error, so there is some confusion.
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at ns14.webmasters.com.
I’m afraid I wasn’t able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I’ve given up. Sorry it didn’t work out.<-fme@myemail.com>: <!-- notice the -f before “me” ... is that the problem? -->
xx.xx.xxx.xxx does not like recipient.

If this is indeed a hosting problem, what should I instruct them to say to their host to try to resolve this?
Thanks in advance,
-greg
ETA: Forgot to say that the Version of Freeform is 2.6.5. Using EE 1.6.3 Build 20080421
