Alternative marker doesn’t work

Hi

I’m using the Tag Module trying to parse an alternative marker called ‘merk’

{exp:tag:entries weblog="d2d_nl" orderby="date" sort="desc" limit="15" disable="trackbacks|member_data" entry_id="not 2117" marker="merk"}
{title}
{/exp:tag:entries}

doesn’t give any result for
http://www.erwinvanlun.com/sandbox/tagtest/merk/hema

although there are some items tagged with ‘hema’.

It used to work before, but now I want to have ‘merk’ in the URL instead of tag.

Any suggestions?

Can I assume you’re working with a structure like this? smile

Just want to make sure in case you’re using “merk” as the template name smile

You say this used to work? Was that before an upgrade?

Are you using Tag 2.1.2? Which version did you upgrade from? smile

the url is:
www.mensmerk.nl/nl/merk/

‘merk’ is not the name of a template but the word to use to identify a tag. The code is handled in the index template within the NL template group.

I don’t exactly know which version I use. I have tried to find that but without result. Where can I check that?

In order to test, I have added the following code to my index template:

<?php if ($mod=='tag'): ?>
This should work:<br>
{exp:<?=$mod?>:entries weblog="d2d_nl" orderby="date" sort="desc" limit="15" disable="trackbacks|member_data" entry_id="not 2117" <?=$tag_expression?>}
regel 1{title}
  {/exp:<?=$mod?>:entries}
<br>
This is hardcoded, thus this should work anyway<br>
{exp:tag:entries weblog="d2d_nl" orderby="date" sort="desc" limit="15" disable="trackbacks|member_data" entry_id="not 2117" tag="myspace"}
{title}
{/exp:tag:entries}

<? endif; ?>

However, even the hardcoded line doesn’t work. Strange ha?

Erwin,

I’ve tried to duplicate this issue and cannot.

Try downloading a fresh copy of Tag 2.1.2 and try this again. Otherwise, you can find out the version number by looking at the list of Module in your Modules page in the CP smile

Also, try this for If No Results:

{if no_results}NO RESULTS!{/if}

there is the Tag version! I have looked on all places (in module configuration, extensions, plugin, docs etc) but not on this very obvious place.

Anyway, it’s 1.1.5.. I’ll install the latest version right away.
