Update

Oops I changed the field name in the wrong template

It doesn’t trip an error but clicking “place image and close window “ still doesn’t work and the field doesn’t populate.

I guess my last post didn’t go through.

I was on the wrong template of course. 
I don’t get an error but the field still isn’t updated.

What are the typical mistakes? Surely my templates give a fair amount of information to get this sorted out.

as you can see I do understand that I am only to have the link and the textfield in the SAEF. If it’s a CP setup error please clue me in,
cause the file is definately getting uploaded evreytime, and permissions and paths seem to be set correctly.

That’s why I wouldn’t mind taking a peek

I’m having the exact same problem as these guys. My code looks identical (I think) to the documentation and yet the field isn’t getting replaced. Really? just 20 seconds? How can I get you into the CP to look at it?
