You guys have some great modules, so I’m essentially looking into checking this out as I’ve been hearing about the module consistently during my EE tenure. smile

Thing is, I don’t understand what it does. I’ve read the docs, but I don’t really see where this is different from say, just making additional weblogs to store content? I’m sure I’m misunderstanding something for sure, and it looks like people find it quite useful, so I’d imagine I’d find some way of utilizing it and maybe even better my workflow and efficiency.

Thanks guys! Forgive me if I’m just totally lost.. I’m so, so curious!

Example Would I be able to produce a contact form such as this one at Condo Bandit, an EE site which features a “Contact Seller” form for every post?

Freeform can do several things… it’s sort of up to you as to what you want to do with it! LOL

Essentially, I’d say its primary purpose is to be used as a flexible contact form (it has a few other uses others have rigged up though). The beautiful thing is, you can set how much or little fields you want displayed. With the native EE contact form, you’re allowed Subject, Email, Name, and Message.... that’s all. The nice thing is, visitors are not required to be logged in to submit the form.

Some examples of usage may be:

Contact Form
Application (Jobs,Credit,etc) Form
Submit Website Links
etc

It appears they are using Freeform for that form. Regardless, this would be possible with Freeform smile
