EE 1.6.3 Tag 2.1.1

Tags work fine, but the Tag Browser/Suggest a Tag function doesn’t work at all. I’ve checked that the “URL to your Control Panel index page” is the same URL that I’m accessing the publish page (including the WWW).

In your documentation (http://www.solspace.com/docs/entry/tag_21_control_panel/) you say:

“The Tag module also uses AJAX Javascript functionality to make your life easier. In the preferences you will indicate where the Javascript directory for the Tag module files is located. By default, the directory is located in your themes directory.”

But I don’t see an opportunity to indicate where the javascript directory is. So, maybe I’m missing something.

Thanks,
Bud Parr

Bud,

I’m unaware of this being necessary. All the jQuery is embedded into the mcp.tag.php file smile

Meanwhile, are all of your paths to your CP configured correctly?
Have you changed the way you access your CP?

Examples like these may cause this:

- Accessing with https:// and having http:// configured
- Accessing with http://site.com and having http://www.site.com configured
- Accessing with a masked CP

Hi Pie Man - yup, I’ve found that sort of thing in the forums here and have checked and double checked them. I only brought the javascript thing up because it was in the docs and I don’t see a reference to the javascript in the control panel.

No. Nothing at all happens. It’s just a field sitting there.

Sorry Bud,

This is really strange, because it seems it doesn’t like the jQuery reference…

Can you download a fresh copy and re-upload overtop of the current files? smile

Thanks

Bud, you’ll need to first set the correct permissions on your config.php file (666)
We’ll take a look further from there…
