I changed the permissions even though Engine Hosting is quite explicit about not having to set them on their servers. Still doesn’t work.

Bud,

This is an issue with the Tag module…
Until we get a fix for this, can you change your CP authentication method to
Cookies Only? smile

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. smile

The “Session ID Only” CP authentication bug has now been fixed. smile

I have the latest version of tag (just updated last night) and my tag browser still seems to not be working. I just get the spinning wheel continue to spin forever. My CP session type is set to cookies only.

Mike,

You’ll need to make sure the path to your CP folder in the path.php file is correct.
Additionally, check your System Configuration settings to make sure you’re accessing your site the exact same path as what’s in there. smile

For example, if your settings show this as the path:

http://www.yoursite.com/system/

And you’re accessing it any of these ways, it will not work:

https://www.yoursite.com/system/
http://yoursite.com/system/
http://admin.yoursite.com/
http://www.yoursite.com/masked.php

I am having the same issue.  I reinstalled thinking that might help, alas it did not.  My Path is correct and I am accessing the system folder in the same manner.  Config.php is 666… any other ideas?

Just to make sure we’re talking about the EXACT same issue… everything “works” fine, except when clicking the Suggest button the wheel spins forever? smile

Yes thats the problem. The plugin works well otherwise.

When I click the suggest button, firebug shows this error:

$(this).suggest_tags is not a function
(?)()()
index.ph...y_id=2104 (line 4706)
evalScript()()index.ph...XHA== (line 1)

You’re using the current build of Tag 2.1.2?

Can I have a look into your CP? smile

eyevariety,

Problem solved smile

I’ve corrected the System URL path from:

http://www.yoursite.com/system/

to:

http://www.yoursite.com/system/index.php

Works well now wink

Oh thank you so much Pieman. I hadn’t seen any of that above so I wasn’t looking for the index.php.
