I’m using version 1.16. and the tag form which allows users to tag weblog entries similar to how they would comment on entries.

I’m looking now for a solutions that allows to moderate the “tagging by users” as this is possible with comments.

Is that possible or will it be possible with version 2?

To the best of my knowledge, moderating user tags is currently not an option, neither in 1.1.6 nor in 2.0. Might make for a good feature request, though.
