Add YouTube, Revver or Blip.tv videos to your website. Allow your users to submit video. And even attach submitted videos to weblog entries, comments, member profile, etc!

Let us know if you’d like to join the beta group for this fun new module.

Sounds fun, Mitchel. Do you want me to spread the word over at the EllisLab forums as well? Or do we keep a low profile for the time being?

We can definitely spread th word. I was just curious how many people were plugged in to that announcements forum. Go ahead and ping the EllisLab forum and we can keep track of the traffic. No doubt the EllisLab forum will be bigger, but by how much will be interesting.

How is this going to differ from the existing plugin that’s already there? That plugin also allows you to display videos in the forum.

What about wiki entries and forum entries?

Sue,

Not sure yet what we’ll do about Forum and Wiki.

But this module allows you to attach multiple videos to entries. All you have to do is paste in a url or embed snippet and the module grabs everything it can about the video. Created embed code and all that junk.

Very nice addition, would love to beta test it and break it heh

Actually what i am looking for is a ADVERTISEMENT module that can handle ads and manage ads per entry/weblog/section/template_group/ visitor country CPM CPC etc etc bla bla… that would be truly awsome

But it seems ill have to pay someone to make that but i am broke currently heh

Raine,

Have you not tried OpenAds, formerly phpAdsNew?

Raine,

It’s really the way to go. The application is feature rich, reliable and FREE.

The way you integrate it with your site is to use the Javascript invocation method and learn how to pass keywords from your EE template across to the JS snippet.

Lisa,

Thank you for testing. I’ve set up Basecamp as we did with the Tag module.

And Raine, Would you mind emailing support@solspace.com so that we can get you into the beta group?

If you could use more - I’d be a willing tester. Thanks,
