I think i’ve asked this before, could vimeo.com support be added as a feature request.  It seems very popular for anyone wanting to upload serious videos, and as a result I’ve got a couple projects where this would be a big improvement to the workflow.

I see there is a front end option for adding videos via the front end, but can this be combined with a normal SAEF submit?  I want users to upload their videos, but also add a description and categories, kind of wanting some kind of custom video field to the standard weblog.  Is it possible to submit a video and weblog via one SAEF?

I created a own video-site-solution with a normal weblog and several video-id-fields for several video-sources … maybe i will switch to this Module if it really does what I want more comfortable and easier to use!

Currently it does not work this way, but I will add this to the feature requests list.

Currently Video pulls the title, description, and author name for each video from the external video site. However, we will soon be adding the ability to add “custom” titles and descriptions per video.

Not in one submit, but you could have the Weblog Entry SAEF submit, and use SAEF Redirect plugin to redirect to another template with the Video field(s). The Solspace SAEF Redirect plugin appends the newly created entry ID to the return URL. This would then allow you to relate the video(s) to that entry

Because there are still some minor issues with it

It would be great if a future release can combine a weblog SAEF with the video module all on one form.  A two page form using the redirect plugin isn’t that desirable to me…

I would like to ‘third’ that feature request for Vimeo and can’t believe it wasn’t there from the beginning!
