I am using Freeform to collect email addresses on various mailing lists. I would like to send out a mass email to a specific mailing list using EE’s Communicate module (Control Panel).

Is this possible?

Yeah, this should be possible.

You can actually use Freeform to have the email be subscribed to a mailing list with these parameters:

Otherwise, if you haven’t been doing that, you’ll need to “harvest” those emails from Freeform, and subscribe them into your Mailing List

Thanks so much! I had the “mailinglist=“default” set but I did not create a “Mailing List” under the same name thinking that they wouldn’t work together. thanks again.

Hi Pie Man, i need to do exactly the same thing here. I’m passing in the right parameters but the form is just adding the user as a freeform entry and its not adding them to the mailing list. Any ideas why?
