Sorry for asking the questions instead of actually using the module and finding out myself but is it possible to cumulate tags to narrow down a search?

For example someone might want to search for entries tagged by tag 1 AND tag 2.

This will also help if the tag groups or categories exist or could be implemented.

I just read through the forums and would I be right that inclusive="yes" is what I’m looking for?

So is it possible to hard code some tags with check boxes in a search form and return results for entries that have been tagged with any of those tags?

Plus an extra check box to say if results should be entries that have been tagged with ALL tags checked.

PS. The reason I said hard code earlier is because I discovered that Tag Categories or Groups don’t exist yet and I want them formatted a particular way (States, Decades and Industries).

I think I’ll be letting you down all day today. There isn’t currently search available for tags in Tag 2.0…

So the only way people can ‘search’ with tags is via a tag cloud?

A tag can be provided to the tag:entries function using the ‘tag’ parameter. That might help. In a future version you will be able to place a ‘search results by tag’ section on your regular EE search results pages.

I hope that feature comes through soon although if I create a page with nicely formatted tags then this won’t be as important.
