Hi guys,

We currently have no firm timeline with Freeform conversion yet, but I believe it’s next in line once our User 3.0 Beta is out the door smile

fantastic! Freeform is undoubtedly the add-on I use the most in client sites, and I can’t really start upgrading sites until it’s 2.0 compatible.

Yes I’d love to know too - I’ve got a site I’ve built in 2.0 and am awaiting user for 2.0 and Freeform for 2.0 to push it out the door so any news would be really helpful.

Count me in as well, please!  I can’t complete my current project without Freeform.  No rush though!  Get it done when you can—I know you guys are very busy.

Any update yet about FF for EE2. I’ve created a EE2 site without knowing that Freeform wasn’t available for it actually, so I’m kind of stuck to finish it.

ExpressionEngine 2.0 is STILL in Beta status. It also wasn’t until recently that Ellislab finally added back in most of the Hooks in the Control Panel which would make some of our conversions even possible. An EE 2.0 compatible version likely wont be available for another month or so.

Sorry to be blunt, but you guys should really do your research before leaping into EE 2.0 smile

Now, now, Kelsey, no need for that! tongue laugh I don’t know about other people, but FreeForm is just a nice-to-have and not something that would be a consideration on whether I use EE2 or not.  On the site I’m developing in EE2, I’m actually using the Email Contact Form instead as although this is basic, it does the job I need it to.

For those needing a more advanced alternative whilst waiting for FreeForm to come out in the next month or so, then I came across ContactManager on Devot-ee last week. I’ve not used it but on first glance, it looks like it could be worth trying out.
