I noticed that the Freeform docs state that to add a form name you can use the form_name parameter, but this didn’t work for me. I tried using ‘name’ instead and it worked - just wanted to pass this along.

No, the Docs clearly state that ’name’ is to be used for the form name, and that ’form_name’ is used as the “dynamic filtering” method for sorting entries.
