I’m finding the installation of this module perplexing. Right now the following error message is displayed:
“The destination field provided will be too small to place your upload code. Please contact customer service.”
So I’m contacting customer service…
What does this error message mean? In the tag, the parameter “destination” refers to a directory, not a field, so far as I understand it. And what is my “upload code”?
Update: This works a charm, exactly what I needed.
I have to say though, the docs could be a little more fleshed out. I was feeling a little lost at sea at first. I think as well the above error message is confusing. It’s shouldn’t be referred to as the destination field, because the term destination is being used for the directory. Why not just use the tag parameter name in the error message, ie, field_name or Field Name? Also, the concept “upload code” does not appear in the docs, so how am I supposed to know what it means in an error message? Nor do the docs say that the field must be of type textarea or at least 150 characters (the default is 128 so that doesn’t work unassisted).
But again, this is what I was looking for: to enable site members to upload files without seeing the cpanel or even a popup of it and all the defined upload directories.
