Some emails not received after upgrading EE

I upgraded EE to 1.6.1 and but didn’t upgrade FF, I think it’s still 1.4.1 and some people on the email list are not getting the emails--but others are.  Is there any issue or known bug that could be causing this?  Do you recommend upgrading FF in my case?

I honestly couldn’t tell you… Freeform 1.4.1 was so long ago. I’d highly recommend updating to Freeform 2.6.1

I updated to the latest FF and EE now and still the problem remains.  Some emails are not getting to all the intended recipients--just some. Any ideas?

When you said “email list”, what exactly do you mean? smile

Are you talking about the Mailing List Opt In, or the user getting a copy of the form they submitted? smile

no, not the mailing list. All I have is a simple freeform that sends people emails when someone enters the contact info and presses send. Some of the email list gets them and some do not, however, they’re all stored in the database.

Can I assume you’re talking about email contacts hardcoded into the notify= parameter?

So your code look a little like this?:

notify="you@yourdomain.com|another@somedomain.com|someother@somedomain.com"

And only some of those are getting the notifcation email?

Or are you using the send_user_email="yes” parameter?

yes, the notify parameter is just as you’ve written.

1.5.2 to 1.6.1

I’m not sure what FF the original was, but now it’s current.
