Not sure if this was requested, but when a field is created, I think there should be a toggle to have it appear in the backend when all entries are listed. That would help from having the backend display properly (ie no horizontal scrolling)

Thanks,

In the freeform tag we should be able to define in what language the system error messages from freeform should appear.

On a multi language site where english is the standard language and in the german part there is a form to be sent I would like to have german error message when fields are not filled with content.

This feature would be even nice in the free freeform module grin

I said it earlier with regard to weblog entries, but it would be awesome to have a browseable tag set so, freeform entries could be shown in templates. I know I can do this with query right now, but a standard FF way of pulling that content would be amazing.

Now it’d be ideal to have them be able to intermingle with weblog:entries as well.

AJP,

I might be a little dim, but could you elaborate on this? smile

Thanks!

Being able to use Freeform as a “tell a friend” form, so where the person mailing can enter 1 or more e-mail adresses and the mail gets sent to them.
I could really use this on a site I’m currently working on… smile

@pieman: I’ve hardly used freeform, and in the times I have, it’s been a new contact form which is how most people use it.
I just found the freeform:entries tag, so pulling out content and data from freeform entries is pretty easy. That parts done.

Any search:field_name parameters coming soon? That’d be wicked.

Now, I’m not quite sure how yet, but through some sort of relationship field, it’d be nice to relate freeform entries to regular entries. But I’m pretty sure i could handle doing that through some intelligent segments + embeds.

So, I’m good. Looking forward to a choice of recipients though, like in the good old days.

Definitely built-in field validation. The ability to choose a field type and just use a tag for it would be great also, instead of hardcoding the form.

1) Ability to display data from multiple forms or by excluding one or more. Example:

form_name="zeus|apollo"
form_name="not ares|poseidon"

2) Support of EE’s weblog entry and comment pagination tags

{paginate}{/paginate}

3) Much better interface of the Freeform’s Entries Manager.
- To have all fields listed in a single row makes each row very deep when a form includes comments submitted by users!
- A sorting by date and a pagination system would help a lot too!

I’ll add this feature request here ...

It would be great if, when a user submits a form that an email is sent to notify an administrator and any custom member fields get updated too in the EE database.

Looking forward to this. Thanks!

We’ve now just started writing up the first draft of specs for Freeform Pro, and we have a developer which will be tackling this in the very near future. wink
