I don’t know how similar or easy it would be, but as iContact also has an API and is more feature-rich (addition of timed autoresponders makes it my mailing service of choice) , it would be a fantastic addition to this module to support this API too.

Basically creating a 3rd party mailing list extension, whereby you could specify the service (Constant Contact / iContact) through an option.
