Hi,

I just completed a beautifully crafted SAEF form only to realize that the user must be logged in to use it - smart move.

I am wondering if I can leverage that finely crafted code by bringing it into Freeform? If yes, I suppose I need to read more of the documentation.

Thanks.

Are you wanting Freeform to dump your entry into a weblog?  It doesn’t do that.  But depending on what you are trying to do, you can collect and display info from Freeform data.  You won’t have things like categories and statuses, and you would need to plug your custom fields into Freeform.

Thanks Christy smile

Forrest,

The other two options you have are:

1) You could force a “general/anonymous” login on the user before they’re directed to the form
2) If it needs to be a weblog entry, and you need the person to be a guest, and don’t want to do the hidden login method, you can use Freeform to submit to Moblog, then have it submit as a weblog.... details here: http://www.solspace.com/forums/viewthread/376/ wink

For this particular need, I am basically looking for a souped up contact form, but it would be handy to have it feed into a regular weblog. Thanks for a link to the other resources.
