Diggie1.2.1
Description
The Diggie module allows your users to vote on your weblog entries and comments. The idea takes off from the popular site Digg.com. Typically, voting would be done in an “up” or “down” manner, but you’re not limited to that. Diggie considers every vote option as a “flag”. Every flag has a name, a value, and a message. For instance, “Up” has a value of +1, “Down” has a value of -1, and “Neutral” has a value of 0. Diggie also allows you to create your own custom flags, so it’s possible to create a flag called “Trash”, having a value of -3, etc. Your users vote for a weblog entry or comment simply by clicking one of the “flags” from the list.
Diggie offers a robust set of functions, stats and tools to make your implementation easier! Included is a necessary Stats function which displays total votes, average vote, and total cumulative vote values for each entry. There is a Rank function and an Author Rank function, both of which rank entries and authors by either total votes, average vote, or total cumulative vote value.
Also included is a Favorites module conversion tool! With a few easy clicks, you can easily import all of your Favorites (if installed) and convert them into a Diggie vote value of your choice.
