Instructions

After downloading the latest version of the extension, unzip the download file and follow these instructions...

1. Install or Update Hermes Expansion

Preparse requires that you use the Hermes Expansion software with ExpressionEngine. It will be included with your download in a separate folder.

• Copy the ‘hermes’ directory into your ./system/ folder.

2. Extension Files

• Copy the directory named ‘preparse’ into your ./system/extensions/ folder.
• Copy the file named ‘ext.preparse.php’ into your ./system/extensions/ folder.
• Copy the file named ‘lang.preparse.php’ into your ./system/language/english/ folder.

3. Installing the Add-On

• Go to the Extensions tab in the ExpressionEngine Control Panel, find "Preparse" in the list, and click "Enable"
